Terms and Conditions

Abi Tours and Travels Madurai

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all bookings, services, and transactions between Abi Tours and Travels, Madurai (“Company/We/Us”) and the client/traveler (“Customer/You”). By booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Booking & Confirmation
1.1 All bookings must be made through authorized representatives of Abi Tours and Travels, Madurai.
1.2 A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the advance payment and issuance of a confirmation invoice/voucher.
1.3 The balance amount (if any) must be paid as per the agreed schedule before the commencement of the tour. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the booking.
1.4 The Company reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion.

2. Payments
2.1 Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, UPI, or any other approved method.
2.2 All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Any bank charges, payment gateway charges, or transaction fees are borne by the Customer.
2.4 In case of non-payment, the Company reserves the right to withhold services, deny travel, or cancel the booking.

3. Cancellation & Refunds
3.1 Cancellations by Customers must be communicated in writing (email/letter).
3.2 Refunds will be processed as per the Cancellation Policy of the Company, subject to deduction of applicable cancellation charges, non-refundable deposits, permits, tickets, or third-party costs.
3.3 Refunds will be initiated within 7–14 working days, depending on service providers (hotels, houseboat, resorts etc.).
3.4 No refunds will be made for unused services, early departures, or “no-shows.”

4. Amendments / Date Changes
4.1 Any request for amendments (rescheduling, change in itinerary, hotels, transport, etc.) must be made in advance.
4.2 Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4.3 Last-minute amendments within 7 days of travel may be treated as cancellation and re-booking.

5. Responsibilities of the Traveler
5.1 The Customer must carry valid travel documents including passport (if applicable), visa, government ID proof, tickets, and permits.
5.2 It is the Customer’s responsibility to comply with all health, vaccination, and COVID-19 guidelines prescribed by authorities.
5.3 Any damage caused by the Customer to property (vehicles, hotels, etc.) will be borne by the Customer.
5.4 The Customer must behave responsibly and respectfully during the tour. The Company reserves the right to terminate services in cases of misconduct without refund.

6. Travel Insurance
6.1 The Company strongly recommends that Customers obtain travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, baggage loss, and accidents.
6.2 The Company is not liable for any losses, damages, accidents, or delays not covered by insurance.

7. Liability & Limitations
7.1 The Company acts only as a travel agent and does not own/control airlines, hotels, transport operators, or other service providers.
7.2 The Company shall not be liable for:
Delays, cancellations, or loss due to natural calamities, weather, accidents, strikes, government restrictions, or force majeure events. Loss, damage, or theft of luggage, valuables, or personal belongings.
Injuries, illnesses, or accidents occurring during the trip.
7.3 The Company’s liability is limited only to the amount paid by the Customer for the tour package.

8. Force Majeure
In case of unforeseen events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, war, political unrest, transport breakdowns, government regulations), the Company may alter, amend, or cancel the tour. Refunds or rescheduling will be offered subject to third-party service providers’ policies.

9. Transport & Accommodation
9.1 Vehicles provided will be as per booking (sedan, SUV, tempo traveler, bus, etc.) and used strictly as per itinerary. Extra usage may attract additional charges.
9.2 Accommodation will be provided in hotels/houseboats/resorts as per the package selected. Standard check-in/check-out times apply as per hotel policy.
9.3 Room allocation is at the discretion of the hotel. The Company is not responsible for preferences like adjoining rooms, bed type, or view.

10. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
10.1 All disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual discussion.
10.2 If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
10.3 This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.

11. Privacy & Data Protection
11.1 The Company may collect basic personal details for booking purposes (name, contact, ID proof).
11.2 Customer data will not be shared with third parties except as required for bookings, legal compliance, or service delivery.

12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Abi Tours and Travels, Madurai, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above Terms & Conditions.
